Manufactured during december 1964 and first commercialised in january 1965 (between 21 and 26.)
Sleeve : Die-Cut front cover. Adhesive Insert with green background without signature.

This is the version that has been deposited at the BNF (Bibliothèque Nationale de France).

A promotional version, not commercialised, exists in only one known copy (See image). The cover had a detachable insert which, when removed, was to reveal the sticker with the Beatles' photo.

Second press with non adhesive insert (mid 65 or end 65). Two Versions, with signatures of members of the band on marbled background ([r9401013]) or solid dark red background ([r7094388])

Credits for Georges Martin, Robert Freeman and Derek Taylor. Made in France. At the bottom, inside the Gatefold, is written "ECRIVEZ LEUR : BEATLES CLUB 194, rue de la Convention...."
