Never seen before: the Kenyan pressing of MJ’s Thriller. Distuinguished by other pressings by its single (non-foldout) sleeve, plain orange EPIC label, slightly ‘off’ colours (most likely caused by the reproduction process of photographing the original sleeve and using that as a master in the offset printing chain) and the mention of 'Top In Town Printing Works’ on the back, the company that used to print the majority of Kenyan record sleeves throughout the 1980s. Despite all the markers above that identify this as a Kenyan pressing, the label on the vinyl states ‘made in England’ (one possibility is that the vinyl was printed in UK for export, then sleeves were manufactured locally, but there were local plants in Kenya at the time so it would make sense that the vinyl was in fact made in Kenya, too).
