Release is titled "The Flowers Of Romance" on rear sleeve (which is the most prominent example of the title on the release); but is titled "Flowers Of Romance" on spine and side B label.

Contains insert with the lyrics.

Side A label artwork: white background, overlaid with large red "PiL" logo (lettering in italic, "P" and "L" in upper case and red; "i" in lower case and white, with the spindle hole at its middle, and printed over a red stripe which runs the diameter of the label, the ends of which are joined by a red arc). Publishing and rights text on the circumference is in red where the label background is white; changes to white where it sits over the red arc. Catalog no. and matrix no. are in red below the "L" of the artist logo. There is no other text on this label.

Side B label artwork: white background with entirely red text. The "PiL" logo from side A (exactly same colouring) is repeated on this side, except much smaller, and sitting above the spindle hole and release title. The text on this label comprises:
- publishing and rights text on circumference
- artist name (in logo form as above) and release title
- "SIDE TWO/33-1/3 RPM/STEREO" to the left of the spindle hole, catalog no. and matrix no. to the right
