This is a so called transition pressing from 1962 when the address on the centre labels changed from "47 West" to "New York USA".

This stereo pressing has the following features:
- Label side A has the "47 WEST 63rd • NYC" address (in use from 1959 to 1962)
- Label side B has the "NEW YORK USA" address (in use from 1962 to 1966)
- Both labels have a deep groove.
- The Plastylite "℘" (the so called "ear") is in the runouts
- "RVG STEREO" is in the runouts
- Identical laminated front cover as the original BLP 4008 mono pressing, but with a "STEREO BLUE NOTE" sticker on the front
- The back cover has the "BLUE NOTE RECORDS INC., 43 West 61st St., New York 23" address along the lower edge
