Some initial copies came with a sticker attached, stating: 'The Very Best of Japan: Includes 5 Tracks Never Previously Released On Album'. In early 1982 the sticker was revised to name the three most recent singles on Hansa - 'European Son', 'Quiet Life', and 'Life In Tokyo'.

Another pressing exists without [l141989] etched into either matrix - [r=17636026].
Later German pressings came with an alternate sticker design in late 1982.
