It can be distinguished because on the spine it says 'The Singles 86>98' instead of 'The Remixes 86>98' and the Matrix Number and the Mastering SID Code are different.

Track 2 is also known as "Strangelove (Tim Simenon / Mark Saunders Remix)".
Track 6 is the abridged version of the mix (which originates from the [url=http://www.discogs.com/Depeche-Mode-Enjoy-The-Silence/release/49767]UK 3" CD single[/url]).
Track 9 is erroneously given as "Barrel Of A Gun (Underworld Hard Mix)".
