C1 to C5 and C7 recorded live in England, March 1965.
Side A, B, C, D, E, F mono, except F1, F5, F6 stereo. Sides G & H stereo.

Track B2, "Tell Me (2nd Version)" is not to be confused with the Jagger/Richard composition "Tell Me (You're Coming Back)," as it actually is The Rolling Stones' recording of "Tell Me Baby (How Many Times)" written by [a307270]. Liner notes correctly states "recorded at Chess Studios, Chicago/USA on June 11th, 1964," but credits on label for Jagger/Richard are not correct.

All runouts stamped, except the stylized 'H1' (ℋ1) is etched.

Box set idea, sleeve-notes, compilation and research: Wolfgang Michels

"This box contains four albums with fifty different recordings from 1963 to 1970. On these four discs of this carefully edited box-set you'll find all those recordings of The Rolling Stones that did not appear on the twelve Decca albums which were originally issued in Germany; Singles (A and B-sides), rarity items, and some titles which appear here for the very first time on an album. You will also find recording information, dates and places, where and when the songs were issued for the first time."
