This is the original first Japanese CD pressing of the album "Thriller". It contains the original album mix of "Billie Jean". It comes in a smooth sided jewel case with the original "patent pending" tray. The first press, [r7753655], was a gold disc. This later release was a silver disc, as shown in this listing's photo gallery.

This early release contains Pre-emphasis and requires De-emphasis processing before it can be played back correctly. Otherwise, the high frequencies will sound shrill and harsh.
