1st Italian pressing EP. New Orthophonic High Fidelity printed on silver lines style label. This is the December 1956 issue with the "Love Me Tender" title & "Printed In U.S.A." on front cover.
The Italian RCA used the same U.S.A. front cover slick but covering the U.S.A. "EPA-4006" logo on upper right hand side with the yellow RCA Italiana "A72V-0083" logo on front cover. Come with the RCA bonus photo with the earliest Elvis italian discography on rear.

"Love Me Tender" is based on the Civil War ballad "Aura Lee", with new lyrics by "Ken Darby". Darby, in fact, wrote all of the soundtrack songs, but credited them to his wife, "Vera Matson", while the Colonel cut his publishing company, Hill & Range, in on the royalties by further crediting the writing to Presley as well. This was a somewhat common practice in the 1950s
