First variation of the 20th-anniversary release on Pink Red Vinyl in June 1987. Identifiable by the EMI (Australia) Ltd manufacturing credit. Pressed by Festival Records. Estimated that 9000 copies were pressed between the two variations.

In 1987, EMI could not press coloured vinyl so the pressing was outsourced to Festival Records who made new half-speed masters from the same tapes (30 ips) made for the Audiophile release in 1983. Master and Lacquer Cut by Warren Barnett.

This variation is issued in the "Pepper" single sleeve with cut-outs Insert. Some copies came in the gatefold cover, also with cut-outs Insert.
