The 1958 film starred Rossano Brazzi and Mitzi Gaynor in the leading roles.

This release does not include "Camden" in the rim text address on labels. "Camden" was dropped in 1960 which makes this a 1960+ reissue.

Notes not provided on release:
Juanita Hall plays the part of Bloody Mary, the same role she had played in the original stage production. Juanita Hall had her singing dubbed for the film version, by Muriel Smith. John Kerr as Lt. Cable, his voice was dubbed by Bill Lee. Ken Clark, who played Stewpot, was dubbed by Thurl Ravenscroft. Mitzi Gaynor and Ray Walston, both noted Broadway musical actors, were the only principal cast members whose own singing voices were used.
