Item Description
2 x Vinyl, , Debossed number LP Album Numbered Stereo
Misses the "An EMI Recording" label text on the pressing rings compared to this otherwise identical [r6859232] version.
Cat# on: spine and labels (as two individual SMO + 4-digit numbers, one on each record).
Top Opening. Flipback on inside sleeve.
Issued with 4 glossy photographs, a double-sided poster (with lyrics on reverse side) printed by Heinrich Nicolaus G.m.b.H., black inner sleeves.
Embossed lettering (The Beatles) on the front cover. "STEREO" imprinted on reverse, top right.
The copies are numbered on the front individually to each copy in the style '№ 0000000' (7 digits).
The style of numbering depends on the number range:
- № 0000000 - 0125000: number is printed in black small font, the leading 0 is partially cut off.
- № 0125000 - 0280000: number is printed in dark grey font. [r=11328174]
- № 0280000 and upwards: number is debossed and colorless [r=6049342] (THIS VERSION)
The LPs came with German catalogue numbers, but were pressed in France. Made in France by "Pathé Marconi".
The gatefold sleeve was imported from Germany, therefore inside, under the songs' titles, the credits are:
ELECTROLA GESELLSCHAFT M.B.H., Köln-Braunsfeld.
Printed and made in Germany by Heinrich Nicolaus G.m.b.H.
Contains the same individual typos and misspellings on the labels as most (all?) of the other French pressings:
Track B7: misses the "?"
Track C4: "hyde" instead of "hide"
Track C5: "Sexie" instead of "Sexy"
Track C7: misses both commas
Eric Clapton on A7 is uncredited for contractual reasons.
