'This special Audio Fidelity 24 Karat Gold CD of Laura Nyro was mastered from very old, very used masters. You will possibly hear some overload distortion in a few parts and some tape creases, etc. that are present on the vintage analog tapes. We wanted to keep the sound as pure as possible so we did not attempt to alter the sound with Noise Reduction and other digital tricks. Therefore the analog tapes were gently mastered but not tampered with, direct to the digital master.'
