Given Thugga Thugga's output in recent years, 2016 was subdued for him: his official releases from this year can be counted on a single appendage. None was finer--and more pointed towards something resembling what kind of major label star Young Thug will be--than Jeffrey, his late summer bid for the car stereos of every neighborhood where more than one person under 30 congregates. Jeffrey was gonna be deemed an instant classic regardless thanks to "Harambe," but this has to be the first album to pull the meta task of having a song named "Wyclef Jean" and also feature Wyclef on a song.
