"FYI: What you see is what you get . . . there are no liner notes here. However, of interest are the photos of the Kingston Trio. .

It is my guess is that these photos were taken very early in John Stewart's career with the trio -- possibly the CLOSE-UP sessions in 1961. The first photo above shows a partial silhouette of what appears to be David "Buck" Wheat, bassist for the Kingston Trio from 1958 to 1961. Wheat left to become a member of Dave Guard and the Whiskeyhill Singers and was replaced by Dean Riley.
