Sadly ebay do not accept proof of posting as evidence of shipping so sellers have to use the more expensive international tracked mail or risk being victims of fraudulent non receipt claims.
if ebay allowed sellers to opt out of the protection program when buyers are specifically happy to pay and risk economy shipping then i would be able to ship much cheaper.
