Originals are now nearly 44 years old and even harder to find are near mint barely played originals to find This copy is truly stunning throughout and totally complete and original Features the original 1st issue laminated front Garrod Lofthouse gate fold cover in very near mint and the original 1st issue EMI Harvest advertising serpier inner sleeve Often seen missing on these originals The 1st issue/1st UK Pressed vinyl is also near mint with no audio sounding marks or scratches.

Deep Purple in Rock is a hard rock album by English rock band Deep Purple, released in 1970.
It was their fourth studio album, and the first with the classic Mk II lineup though Concert for Group and Orchestra , a live album released in December 1969, did feature this lineup .
It would peak at 4 in the UK, remianing in the charts for many months.
Their earlier work was much differently oriented, with orchestra-driven tracks and covers that ranged from The Beatles to Neil Diamond, among others, but on this record there are no compromises.
All tracks are credited to the working efforts of the five members of the band.
Speed King and Flight of the Rat are prime examples of hard rock songs, and the band s new style.
Child in Time is perhaps the most famous song from this record.
This song starts off as a ballad but then becomes a rocker with several solo improvisations and is famous for the high notes Ian Gillan hits in the song.
Although Into the Fire and Speed King featured in the set lists at the time, Child in Time was the only song from this album that was included on Made in Japan two years later although Speed King was the usual encore and is featured on the expanded CD re-issue, as is Black Night which was included in the Deep Purple in Rock reissue Track Listing.....

please look at my completed listings of albums that I have sold of this calaber more than 800 items and you will see that I normally get it right I have also provided as many photos as I can and supersized so that all aspects can be seen clearly in strong light Please note These photos are the actual item for sale and not copies of other items The Vinyl Please note This is the original HEAVY THICKER AND DEEPER GROOVED TYPE OF VINYL later press were much more flimsier and less robust The vinyl lays perfectly flat on the turntable On initial visual inspection the playing surface looks awesome I find it hard to see even a blemish.
Any marks that could possibly be seen under a strong would be caused by the vinyl been slid in and out of its sleeve and not audio sounding Importantly There is no needle scratches or audio sounding marks that I can see or heard at all It is obvious that this vinyl has barely ever been played no more than a handful of times ever The Audio Quality I have played this through track for track four times at very loud volume on a top system prior to this listing, the audio is awesome cristal clear and vibrant through out, with no distortion or any signs of groove ware at all certainly no clicks pops or jumps As good as it gets in my opinion THIS AUDIO IS RATED AT THE VERY TOP ON ALL FREQUENCIES GRADED AS NEAR MINT UNBELEIVABLE FOR A VINYL THAT IS 35 YEARS OLD IN MY OPINION THESE EARLY ORIGINAL 1ST PRESSINGS PRODUCE THE BEST AUDIO QUALITY CAN NOT BE SURPASSED BY LATER PRESSINGS Audio Graded Near Mint Throughout An audio archive copy never need to upgrade from this vinyl Please note I always add this disclaimer I have described the audio quality as usual giving my honest opinion and would class myself as highly critical Please look at my completed listing of records that i have sold of this calaber and you will see that i normally get it right Please allow for the odd static here and there not consistent throughout the audio Remember that this is a genuine original 1st press vinyl that is 44 years old and would have been played on a 44 years old system Audio is graded as near mint in my opinion Listen to the complete album in my player recorded from the actual vinyl listed The Matrix Earliest possible side 1.

around the label rim only early press EMI IS EMITED only 1st press jus a handful of spidering can be seen only angled in strong light only.
In my opinion this has barely ever been playedf no more than a handfull of times ever ,, definately not been over played.
For a vinyl that is 44 years old unbeleivable Please note I am highly critical about the audio quality on my records as it is my prime interest above rarety This plays awesome you will not be disappointed, also this being the 1st and very early is highly collectable and sought after The Cover This is the original GARROD LOFTHOUSE Printed laminated gatefold cover in absolutely beautiful condition Super glossy appearance without the usual nasty ring wear often seen on these covers NO SPLITS OR TARES OR NASTY NAMES WRITTEN ON VERY VERY GLOSSY AND VERY VERY RICH IN COLOUR VERY RARELY EVER SEEN IN THIS CONDITION no splits or tares really superbe spine see photos minimal minor creasing lines near spine end only but you have to look for it, to notice If I am critacle the front is very, very, very slightly rippled compared to the rear but I must emphisise that this is being very picky and is not storage ware, but the way that these early covers were manufactured.
