This is an LP that has been in my collection for many years and has been extremely well looked after and cherished.
The first LP released by David Bowie which I have read was issued the same day as The Beatles Sgt. Pepper.
This is the original UK first issue in Mono there was a stereo as well issued in 1967 on the Deram label. It sold in extremely small quantities and was immediately deleted.
DERAM DML 1007 mono
Matrices on the record
Side 1 ARL-7754-1B
Side 2 ARL-7755-1B
This makes it one of the ultimate David Bowie rarities and vital for Bowie collectors.
Don t forget this record will be 50 years old next year and considering that is in great condition.
Really nice front cover with the slightest of laminate lift down a small area at spine.
Excellent spine totally readable with no splits or damage. Some slight feathering to the opening edge and the white area has aged a bit.
Rear cover is slightly browned with age and there is a 1cm split at opening edge.
No writing or other nasties. Please look at the pictures for more details.
The LP has its original lined inner sleeve which is unsplit but browned with age.
The record plays to a really high standard throughout. There is no nasty groove damage at all and the sound is clear and vibrant. There is a bit of background noise on the run ins and between the tracks but during the music it tends to disappear. There are no scratches or loud pops to worry about. I would grade as VG overall. It is close to Ex grade but am being very cautious to avoid disappointment to a new owner.
The labels are free from writing or damage. There are spindle marks but not too heavy and this record has been played on good quality hifi equipment.
Visually there are just very light light sleeve removal marks under a strong light but nothing prominent or heavy, hence it plays so well.

Any savings will be passed on to the buyer i will not make excessive profit on the post.
