DAVID BOWIE I DIG EVERYTHING
ORIGINAL 1966 AUDIODISC I SIDED 7 ACETATE
One of the earliest genuine David Bowie acetates to be offered for sale
On 6th June 1966 David Bowie and his band the Buzz went to Pye studios to record I Dig Everything which was to be the next single but Tony Hatch decided the song need re-arranging and that it would benefit from using session musicians. The released version was actually recorded on July 5th, the Buzz not taking part. This was to be David Bowie s last recording for Pye
The acetate hasn t been played, I am unsure if there any any differences to the final version. Acetates are very fragile and recommended not to be played excessively.
The track listing and artist details have been crossed out with felt pen and blue ballpoint pen
Apart from the label, the disc is visually in excellent condition, check the pictures to satisfy yourself with condition. The flipside is blank with a audiodisc label
Nearly 50 years old, this acetate has an important place in David Bowie s history and in Pop Culture
