DAVID BOWIE 10 metal ACETATE single-1 sided-1 song on PYE UK catalog N-17157-hand written on the disc., Song is I Dig Everything 1966 ....
incorrectly spelled I Did Everything .
Running time is 2:38 which is 5 seconds shorter than the released single original.
Song sounds very much like soul with background vocals.
Released 1966 the track was originally demoed with Bowie s touring band THE BUZZ but Tony Hatch was unhappy with the results and replaced them with studio players...
The song was performed in 66 as a rewritten version of 1-2-3 later Clouds which David heard at the Marqueed Club in 1967 and was a commercial failure...Vinyl is shinny and new VG to M- and plays loud and amazingly clear....
This is a very early and rare unreleased version of a single for the David Bowie collector who has everything..
