Notes: .
UK 1st press in a the 1st press matt gatefold sleeve with Jim Simpson Big Bear Management credits, this was quickly changed when they parted company with their management. It is believed that only a couple of hundred exists with this credit. Complete with the original swirl inner. The record features the large swirl above the spindle hole of side 2 and Vertigo credits below the hole. There is no break in between the tracks Hand of Doom and Rat Salad it looks as though there are only three tracks on the B side of the record when there are actually four.

The sleeve is in great shape no rips or splits. It does have some moderate storage wear which is almost inevitable with black matt sleeves. It does have a pen mark on the back which is on a dark section so quite hard to see. The inner is fine with no rips or splits.
The disc is in stunning condition, looks almost new Very clean with a real good shine. This clearly hasnt been played very much at all. There is one very, very light minor mark at the start of side one which is mostly on the run in, this has no affect on the audio even the run in section. There is also the odd hairline sleeve trails, I had to look very hard under strong light to spot these again these are non audio. The labels are clean with just a few light spindle trails. It still has a slither of vinyl attached to the spindle hole from the cutting process again consistent with only a few plays, this would of come off with multiple plays.
The play back is superb The run ins and between tracks are virtually silent. There are no real negatives to report, just the odd random static, very few and far between. There is no sound distortion even played at high volume. A very comfortable NM grading.

Mint M Absolutely perfect in every way. Certainly never been played, possibly even still sealed.

Near Mint NM
A nearly perfect record. The record should show no obvious signs of wear. The record should have no more than the most minor defects, such as almost invisible ring wear or other signs of slight handling. The cover should have no creases, folds, seam splits or other noticeable similar defects. No cut-out holes, either. And of course, the same should be true of any other inserts, such as posters, lyric sleeves and the like. Basically, an LP in near mint condition looks as if you just got it home from a new record store and removed the shrink wrap.

Excellent EX An excellent record will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. Record surfaces may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don t affect one s listening experiences. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are OK . The label may have some ring wear or discolouration, but it should be barely noticeable. The centre hole will not have been misshapen by repeated play. Picture sleeves and LP inner sleeves will have some slight wear, lightly turned up corners, or a slight seam split. An LP cover may have slight signs of wear also and may be marred by a cut-out hole, indentation or corner indicating it was taken out of print and sold at a discount.

Very Good VG Many of the defects found in a EX record will be more pronounced in a VG disc. Surface noise will be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a song s intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise. Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as with light scratches deep enough to feel with a fingernail that will affect the sound. Labels may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers or their residue attached. The same will be true of picture sleeves or LP covers. However, it will not have all of these problems at the same time, only two or three of them
