Item Description
You are bidding on a limited edition coloured vinyl test-press of 'Discoveries' by ARIA-award winning band Northlane.
This particular test press is numbered 3 of 3 produced. It was one of the vinyl samples used to approve the stunning multi-coloured swirl vinyl.
The item comes directly from record label archives and is hand numbered as 10 out of 10 produced. These items are rarely made available to the public.
It will come with a letter of authenticity from our management company.
This auction is part of a lot of rare collectablse being sold by directly from the band and sourced from the personal collections of the members and the archives of our record label.
We hung onto this stuff for sentimental reasons, but the costs of operating a touring band can really add up. Unfortunately, tax time is upon us and all proceeds will go towards us staying on the right side of the law.
While we’ve donated a lot to charity over time, the proceeds of this auction are going to go to support the band. We’ll be taking some time off touring this year to write the best new record we can. As touring is our only substantial source of income, this money will go towards ensuring we can cover our bills and make ends meet while we’re not on the road.
We know you’ve heard it all before but understand that we really don’t make much money doing this as it is (well below minimum wage), we still need to put food on the table like anybody else.
All of the items on this list will be going on sale over the coming month, with the first items being available for auction from Wednesday, March 23..
