OK so this is the holy grail for serious Genesis fans
Original MONO Decca recording of From Genesis To Revelation complete with authentic inner bag, lyrics sheet and Robert Stace outer sleeve with the mono / stereo peep hole. NB the lyric sheet is as you see it, not perfect, but it is the original thicker sheet only found in the mono and unboxed stereo pressings. I resisted the temptation to replace it with a pristine later and flimsier version.
I have just played the LP for the first time in many years on my trusty Pioneer Pl2D which will also be appearing later today on eBay The background noise is minimal, with no scratches or repetitive clicks. Very playable.
As this is an early pressing, the vinyl is thick and heavy and lays perfectly flat on the turntable.
I am selling many very rare Genesis vinyl items over the coming weeks, so please keep watching. And I mean seriously rare. I have multiple copies of all the rare 1968 to 1975 items and later .
I am selling all my classic hi fi and dragging myself into the 21st century so will no longer have the means to play vinyl. It s time for a true Genesis fan to own this piece of history.
