Item Description

On offer here is a VERY rare LP especially in this condition by Pink Floyd called Dark Side Of The Moon and is an ORIGINAL 1973 UK 1st Pressing on the ULTRA RARE 1st Press Solid Blue Triangle Harvest label THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND THIS IS ONE OF PINK FLOYD S RAREST MOST SOUGHT AFTER LPs EVER BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL, IS THAT IT IS ONE OF THE EARLIEST 1ST PRESSINGS EVER MADE - WITH SOME AMAZING DIFFERENCES THAT ALL LATER PRESSINGS SIMPLY DO NOT HAVE AND THIS IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP THIS LP HAS SOME INCREDIBLE DIFFERENCES INCLUDING THE COVER, INNER, STICKERS, POSTERS, LABELS, MATRIXES INSERTS THAT ALL LATER ONES DONT HAVE - AND IT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT TO EXAMINE THEM IN GREAT DETAIL THIS LP WAS ONLY EVER PRESSED LIKE THIS FOR AN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNT OF TIME ONLY - AND WAS CHANGED STRAIGHT AFTER RELEASE AS A RESULT IT IS ONE OF THE ULTIMATE PINK FLOYD RARITIES AND INCREDIBLY SOUGHT AFTER I WILL NOW EXPLAIN WHAT MAKES THIS LP SO AMAZINGLY RARE - AND ALSO SHOW THAT EVERY SINGLE PART OF THIS LP HAS BEEN TOGETHER WITH NO PARTS SWOPPED SINCE THE DAY IT WAS MADE BACK IN 1973 FIRSTLY THE MATRIXES ON THE RECORD, ARE THE EARLIEST 1ST PRESS MATRIXES - ENDING IN A2/B2 LATER ONES DONT SECONDLY THE LABELS ALSO HAVE THE CORRECT EARLIEST 1ST PRESS GRAMOPHONE COMPANY LABEL EDGE TEXT LATER PRESSINGS HAD THIS CHANGED THIS TO EMI RECORDS TEXT INSTEAD THIRDLY THE RECORD LABELS HAVE THE ULTRA RARE EARLIEST 1ST PRESS SOLID LIGHT BLUE TRIANGLE ON BOTH SIDES - WHICH WAS IMMEDIATELY CHANGED TO THE COMMON TRANSPARENT TRIANGLE WHICH APPEARS ON ALL LATER PRESSINGS AS THE TEXT WAS HARD TO READ AND IT DIDNT MATCH THE COVER FOURTHLY THE STICKERS HAVE FASSON FASPRINT CRACKBACK ON THE REVERSE OF THE STICKERS LATER ONES DONT .
FIFTHLY, THE INNER LOOKS TO BE OF THE EARLIEST 1ST PRESS TYPE - BEING BLACK, AND DIE-CUT AND LASTLY THE COVER IS ALSO A 100 GENIUNE EARLIEST 1ST PRESS COVER TOO - MADE BY GARROD LOFTHOUSE HAS THE VERY RAREST 1ST PRESS VARIATION - BEING OPEN AT BOTH ENDS SO THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO DOUBT AT ALL - THAT THIS IS ONE OF THE EARLIEST 1ST PRESSINGS OF THIS AMAZING LP THAT YOU CAN POSSIBLY GET THIS LP IS ALSO MADE EVEN RARER STILL - AS IT IS AN ULTRA RARE FACTORY SAMPLE 1ST PRESSING AND AGAIN, THIS IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP FACTORY SAMPLE PRESSINGS WERE ONLY EVER PRESSED IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS NO MORE THAN A HUNDRED COPIES AT THE VERY MOST , AND WERE ONLY EVER USED FOR IN-HOUSE USE BY EMI / HARVEST THEMSELVES FOR PROMOTIONAL PURPOSES , OR VERY OCCASSIONALLY ONE WAS GIVEN OUT TO IMPORTANT VISITORS TO THE FACTORY - SUCH AS PROSPECTIVE CLIENTS FOR EXAMPLE FACTORY SAMPLES WERE NEARLY ALWAYS THE EARLIEST 1ST PRESSINGS EVER MADE AS IN THIS CASE - AND ARE TRULY EXCEPTIONALLY HARD TO FIND TODAY BARELY ANY FACTORY SAMPLE 1ST PRESSINGS OF THIS LP WERE EVER MADE - MAKING THIS LP OF THE UTMOST RARITY HOWEVER TO BE AS CLEAR AS POSSIBLE ON THIS LP - THERE ARE 2 STRANGE DETAILS I MUST MENTION AND BEFORE I GET ANY EMAILS - I KNOW FOR A 100 FACT, THAT THIS LP HAS BEEN TOGETHER SINCE 1973 WITH NOTHING SWOPPED OR CHANGED.
SO HERE AT THE FEW STRANGE EXTRA DETAILS:- 1 Although the one previous owner was very insistent that the inner has been with this set since 1973, and is EXACTLY correct in size and shape - for some reason there is NO silver text and NO poly lining .
However despite me pointing this out to the 1 previous owner, he was absolutely certain this is how he first obtained the LP back in 1973.
2 Although the cover still has the very VERY faintest hint of Blue under close examination, and is THICK and QUALITY - and definitely NOT a later cover, it is far more black than blue.
And it also has definitely NOT been swopped.
And it also has the RAREST 1st Press open type of 1st Press cover - and NOT the thinner type of later covers Still I thought it was best to clear here, even though construction is VERY thick and quality and points to the day of release back in 1973 And this is something I have NEVER seen before on a 1st Pressing of Dark Side Of The Moon SO ALTHOUGH THIS LP IS IN UNDOUBTEDLY ONE OF THE EARLIEST 1ST PRESSINGS EVER MADE WITH NOTHING SWOPPED OR CHANGED - I THOUGHT IT IMPORTANT TO MENTION THESE DETAILS ABOVE NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION IT IS ALSO 100 COMPLETE WITH ITS 2 1ST PRESS SHINY POSTERS, 2 1ST PRESS FASSON/FASPRINT CRACKBACK STICKERS AND 1ST PRESS BLACK POLY-LINED INNER SLEEVE SILVER TEXT JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1973 UK EARLIEST 1ST PRESSING ON THE ULTRA RARE EARLIEST 1ST PRESS SOLID LIGHT BLUE TRIANGLE HARVEST LABEL, EARLIEST 1ST PRESS BLACK TEXTURED DIE-CUT POLY-LINED SILVER TEXT INNER SLEEVE, EARLIEST 1ST PRESS A2/B2 MATRIX ENDINGS, EARLIEST 1ST PRESS GRAMOPHONE COMPANY EDGE TEXT, EARLIEST 1ST PRESS SHINY POSTERS FASPRINT CRACKBACK STICKERS, AND EARLIEST 1ST PRESS DARK BLUE GATEFOLD GARROD LOFTHOUSE COVER OPEN AT BOTH ENDS THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY This is the ORIGINAL Harvest UK 1st Pressing from 1973 and is in BRILLIANT condition The Cat.

MY POSTAGE UNDERCHARGE GUARANTEE TO ALL BUYERS I always undercharge on postage :- Due to UK Royal Mail s obscene price increases this year - I have had no choice but to increase postage charges a little.
Until this year - I had kept them exactly the same since I joined ebay back in 2002.
However this years price increases have been so obscene, that I have had no choice but to increase my postage charges for the first time ever.
However PLEASE NOTE - my absolute 100 guarantee to you as a buyer - is that I will ALWAYS undercharge postage on everything I send out.
Even after the increases, I am still charging you the buyer LESS than I am being charged myself.
On each package I send out - the price is clearly stated on the front of the package please check it when you recieve it .
I also do NOT charge for packaging costs - ONLY for postal costs And should you find that I have overcharged you postage in ANY way - I will refund DOUBLE the difference.
THAT IS MY 100 POSTAL GUARANTEE FOR EACH AND EVERY BUYER No buyer EVER deserves to be overcharged on postage - and on my listings, I ll make sure they are ALWAYS undercharged.
Any questions - please ask
