Here, you get what you pay for SAFE PACKING in BOXES using 7mm DOUBLE-WALL STIFFENERS with extra 7mm side protection and bubblewrap.

But delivery can take up to 4 to 6 weeks from the UK.

ALSO: I now apply the Ebay 2-day rule for non-payment to keep things moving cash-flow is important for any small business.
I will always keep my P P prices as low as possible, and even after yet another Royal Mail price hike from April this year, I have NOT raised my prices and will never compromise on solid, safe packing that is invariably heavier than most you will get.
My P P offers probably the best value-for-money for vinyl records available, and I even will pay for full insurance on any record that sells for over 100 at NO extra cost that is UK and abroad.
Also I aim to post the very same day after payment is received.
You WILL see the difference when my packet arrives.
FINALLY: Late payers, non-payers and 0 bidders will now be blocked or cancelled at my discretion.
As will any bidder who cancels a bid.
I do not like this practice as it is most often used to phish out the price to beat.
Ebay does not approve and neither do I so only bid on my items if you want them.
Artist or Band: PINK FLOYD Album Title: The Dark Side of the Moon Producer s : Pink Floyd TRACK LIST: Side 1: Speak to Me Breathe On the Run Time The Great Gig in the Sky.
Side 2: Money Us and Them Any Colour You Like Brain Damage Eclipse.
Label/Format: Harvest customised format with matt, smooth surfaces.
As seen, this is the original pale blue triangle, recognised as a first issue.
Fairly quickly changed to the standard darker triangle format.
One of the most prized albums to own in the prog-rock genre.
Label Conditions: Both very clean, fresh and attractive with only a very small few light, fine and faint spindle marks.
Although not quite a pristine record, it certainly appears very little used and mostly plays with superb sound.
Catalogue Number: SHVL 804 Mode / Speed: Stereo / 33.3 rpm.
Warps: Assume all records I offer have no warping of any significance and all tracking is easy and effortless and should play on all turntables and even budget decks.
Weight of this Record: 123 grams.
Average weight.
Country of Manufacture: England Rarity: The album itself is common, let s not pretend otherwise.
This sold in vast numbers and even today still does in various formats.
However when first issued, it had a pale blue format label that has become prized.
It was fairly quickly changed to the more familiar and common darker triangle label.
These first issues were still pressed in considerable numbers, but sold out quickl.
Over time, many examples on this first label were played into submission to the point of being trashed and pretty much unlistenable.
Cleaner copies that survive are less plentiful for sure and this album, on this label, has become one of the most desirable albums for rock collectors.
In real terms, its rarity I feel is overblown, terms like mega rare etc, simply untrue.
But like other major selling acts, condition is the major factor.
That said, for every thousand Dark Side of the Moons that appear, probably only a couple or three will be a pale blue original and in what condition? .
A rare, or very rare record, using the term correctly, is one that sells in very small units of around a thousand to five thousand or less , ones that are hardly even seen or offered.
Although fairly scarce, and harder in better conditions, this one hardly really qualifies as rare that is simply being honest.
Original Year of Release: 1973 Matrix Nos: SHVL 804 A-2 / SHVL 804 B-2 Mother Stamper Codes: 3 AG / 1 RP these very early, listed 16 in the known 89 pressing variant first issues Musicians: David Gilmour vocals, guitars, VCS 3 Nick Mason percussion, tape effects Richard Wright keyboards, vocals, VCS 3 Roger Waters bass guitar, vocals, VCS 3, tape effects.
With: Dick Parry saxophone Clare Torry vocals on The Great Gig in the Sky Doris Troy backing vocals Lesley Duncan backing vocals Liza Strike backing vocals Barry St.
John backing vocals.
What s On Offer: A first issue solid pale blue triangle record with the deep blue-black original cover sometimes described as very dark blue .
Two unmounted posters, two stickers.
A black soft-lined inner sleeve not original, it has no number .
A Harvest promotional sheet.
A 1973 Earls Court Pink Floyd concert programme and an original Earls Court Exhibition Hall concert ticket.
This copy was purchased from new by one owner, all the pieces bar the black inner sleeve were included.
The original black inner sleeve was missing, so I included one as near to an original as I have in stock.
The 16-page concert programme and ticket are guaranteed original, the Harvest promotional album sheet possibly a repro a nice thing to own either way.
Brief Artist Album Info: Any interested collector will know all about this album with little or no introductions needed.
A monumental issue that sold in massive numbers worldwide, and even today, this legendary record is still used as a reference test for hi-fi systems.
The sound and production is definitive and will make any worthy system go into overdrive with incredible details and dynamics.
I have heard many variants of the years, both analogue and digital, but to date, I have never heard a copy that betters an early vinyl copy.
Even with minor blemishes, this very early copy offers the true definitive sound the band and engineers wanted.
For me, only the Mobile Fidelity super-fi pressing compares.
Cover Grade and Format: EXCELLENT : an unlaminated gatefold format with matt and smooth surfaces.
This has the correct blue-black hue and appears paler than the common deeper black reprints.
This very much evident when placed side-by-side with the later printing.
This one has the two open entrance edges some had a closed left edge a few included a promotional sticker all are correct.
The most important factor is the colour.
Printed and made in England by Garrod Lofthouse.
All other contents are listed above.
Cover Front: Stating the obvious very prone to wear these early paler blue-tinged black covers seem even more prone.
This front has general mainly very light rubbing, but has avoided any significant marks or creases, in fact there is barely any creasing at all, also no sticker issues.
Like most, the corner tips have rubbed.
Overall, a fine front that just gives gentle clues for age and vulnerability.
Cover Back: Quite similar again, a fraction more rubbing, but the avoidance of ugly penetrating ring wear is a plus, any rim rubbing is gentle and light.
Tip rubbing again, with just one very fine half moon crease that hardly registers.
In terms of creasing, this has possibly the least I have seen on any DSOTM cover.
Given the format, both sides have fared pretty well with no damage or significant wear.
Cover Inner Gatefold: Little to fault at all inside, this is really nice.
Top Bottom Edges: All four are similar: flat, straight and flush.
Mostly quite light patchy rubbing, more moderate near the ends.
Right Edge s , and Type: As stated, both ends are open certainly offering better storage of the inserts.
All four ends are still quite sharp with any thickening or burring light as seen viewed end-on, both edges are guaranteed untrimmed or enhanced.
Spine and Text: The perilous spine has minimal hint of wear, most of any rubbing on the top end, and even that in context is only small.
Very solid, straight with minimal compression, also folded squarely, so all edges are flush and parallel.
Always the best news for a neater cover.
The main surface, and even the folds have avoided rubbing, there was no text printed on the spine.
These are less seen with this area almost unworn and this impressive.
Corners: Moderate rubbing to most corner tips, this never easily avoided or seen.
Fine to very fine shape retained with no bashes, any dink evidence gentle and light.
Cover Summary: Revealing and uncompromising, this first issue intense deep blue I prefer to call it blue-black cover only has quite gentle wear, with most being on the top and bottom edges.
This the genuine article, and they seldom wear well, avoiding damage and still attractive overall.
Not for perfectionists, but many collectors and fans who have no qualms in being politely reminded of age, should enjoy it.
The Inner Sleeve: NEAR MINT: firstly, this is NOT the black inner that came with the original album, on purchase, the record had been placed inside a replacement inner sleeve.
So this is a replacement I had in stock which is as close as I can make it.
This as seen is a black, soft-lined inner that looks practically as made.
The Posters: EXCELLENT : the band one even better, both are unmounted and have fairly matt sheen surfaces.
Posters and stickers do vary and documented as such.
Very slight toning traces on the back of the pyramid one, both front surfaces are impressive and fresh with barely anything to fault.
The Sticker 1 yellow: PRACTICALLY MINT: matt surface, crack-back FasPrint back with diagonal brown lines.
This looks as made.
The Sticker 2 brown: NEAR EXCELLENT: matt surface, PERMANENT wavy back peeling format.
This has a moderate corner area crease, this the only issue.
The Concert Programme: EXCELLENT: a 16-page A4 size booklet programme printed in black, white and pink.
This from the 1973 Earls Court Concerts of May 18th/19th.
Only a mild semi-fold near the centre and very faint rub traces on the outside back cover.
The owner probably folded it gently to fit inside his pocket, the crease only shows a little on the back.
Guaranteed original, not seen often and a lovely momento and historic piece to complement this album perfectly.
The Concert Ticket: EXCELLENT : with nothing more than one gentle crease that shows little, again guaranteed genuine.
Printed both sides and with a princely sum of 2 admission yes, concerts back then really were that cheap even in London.
This one dated Friday May 18th 1973 to match the concern programme.
The band printed as THE PINK FLOYD as seen.
The Harvest Promotional Sheet: No Grade: this most likely a reproduction of an original Harvest promotional advert in a music magazine.
Plain backed, the front as seen with a single fold on A3 size paper.
A nice item to have as this will not be seen often.
Vinyl Condition/Visual Grading: EXCELLENT: and actually looking better still, viewed in average room light, this looks fantastic.
Any marks minimal and faint, even under my bright grading lamp.
An ultra fine hairline on Brain Damage has mostly very gentle faint ticks that get even fainter into the song and barely even register on the louder passages of the track.
This the main blemish on what otherwise is a superb example that appears little played.
The super-fine hairline almost invisible until actually searched for, it being arguably even finer than a hairline.
The ticks are mostly very gentle indeed and personally caused me little to know distraction, but everyone is different, and of course subjective.
This is why I play-grade all my records, if not, this minor blemish would not have even been noticed.
A very impressive visual copy that is very clean with excellent shine and quite solidly pressed.
This has no tracking issues which some are documented as having, this plays through perfectly fine on my Sondek .
Not for the highly discerning perfectionists, but again, many fans and collectors will be delighted to own it.
Compared to some heavily played, badly marked and even trashed copies I have seen, this is a very impressive example.
Album Played For Grading: Yes.
I play ALL records I offer before submitting to Ebay, also the record is played in its entirety unless clearly stated otherwise.
I do NOT play snippets or joining grooves to check for sound quality and quietness I play from the beginning to end via clinically revealing B W speakers that include the legendary tweeter from their awesome Nautilus range that reveals every blemish or minuscule sound present on any record.
Sound Quality and Audio Grading: This legendary album plays mostly above it s high visual grading, and up to the top level with little else to fault bar the gentle blemish on Brain Damage , this mentioned above already.
Very gentle, light ticks that largely fade away into the song and barely heard on the louder segments of the song.
Any others blemishes are minimal and few, overall this was a joy to play-grade with immense sound the very early copies offer.
Offering strong, distortion-free sound, all frequencies are sharp and clear sound quality is very high with a wide dynamic range and very detailed sound.
Still one of hi-fi s test pieces, the audio quality still amazes, still up there with the very best ever if your system can handle it.
Few will not know the album well, it does have some quieter songs so total silence is a very difficult ask, so the odd sporadic click or surface trace sound is near impossible to avoid on any popular vintage record.
The heartbeat into and outro will always prove difficult to say the very least.
Any surface sounds are minimal, overall a very clean pressing with no tracking issues , known and documents faults are known to exist on some copies.
Both channels are clean and sharp, I am certain this record has been played only lightly and still sets a high standard.
But the super-fine hairline means not quite for the sound purists or perfectionists, but how many originals will ever be truly perfect ? The pleasure of owning a first issue DSOTM cannot be put into words, even with minor sound blemishes, this is still a lovely clean copy.
Very little spoilt my pleasure when play-grading this wonderful record in fact it remains one of the best vinyl copies I have heard.
Remember this record, even from the issue time was quite mass-produced, and often pressing quality suffered.
It could prove difficult to find significantly better and can be strongly recommended to those tolerant of minor blemishes.
If absolute perfection is mandatory, wait continues and good luck finding one with the first labels.
As played-graded on a high-end Linn LP12 Sondek turntable with Ittok Mk II arm and Ortofon Quintet Black moving coil cartridge tracking at 2.2 grams.
Now one of the most established sellers on Ebay and still offering the finest and most accurately described and graded records I can find.
I pride myself on offering a variety of genres to keep my site as interesting as possible.
I will rarely offer any record that falls below a true Excellent grading, unless its of a certain rarity which will justify offering a lesser grade.
I try, to the best of my ability to describe as accurately and as honesty as I can all items I offer for sale with all the relevant information I can think of to help any potential bidder and collector.
You may notice I only submit records sparingly on Ebay as I Play-Grade every record I offer in their entirety also on higher-end equipment not just bits to guess a grade - visuals alone do not always tell a true or full story.
I will mention any defects or flaws no matter how small that I notice to be fair as possible to any interested collector I am very fussy and my buyers have the right to be too.
Every record I offer, whether it be a common or rare item deserves the same respect as far as I am concerned and will be treated the same - just because an item is rare does not always mean it s good.
I get just as much pleasure offering a relatively common record in stunning near mint condition as the real rare items.
All the pictures I use for your guidance are taken with a digital camera or scanned - they are NOT improved, cleaned-up or made better looking than they are with camera trickery or enhancing with digital programs.
Room light factors can make things vary sometimes, that is hard to control, especially in winter.
If any picture I take looks more flattering than the actual item for any reason, I will clearly state the fact in the advert and vice-versa.
I hope the item below is to your liking - any questions can be emailed and I will do my very best to answer you.
I am enthusiastic, and have a fair degree of knowledge about many genres and I promise quality items - bid with confidence - excellence comes as standard and so does Near Mint regularly.
Please assume all records I offer have NO jumps, sticks, warps or writing on covers or labels unless clearly stated to the contrary.
Thanks for your interest and Good luck MIKE.
Equipment Used for Play-Grading: I now play-grade ALL the records I offer unless clearly stated to the contrary on the following equipment: Deck: Linn LP12/Hercules/Cirkus with Ittok Mk II arm and Ortofon Quintet Black moving coil cartridge tracks at 2.2 grams .
Amps: Naim Supernait 2 with Project USB phono stage and Tellerium Black interconnects.
Speakers: B W 704 Floorstanding 3-way Monitors bi-wired with Tellurium Black terminated cable .
All records I offer on Ebay are cleaned on a professional VPI-17 vacuum machine before play-grading for the cleanest and best possible sound and will include a brand new lined inner and protective cover too.
Pictures taken with a Nikon D5000 SLR Digital Camera.
PACKING - THIS IS WHAT YOU GET.
What You Get: To confirm to the strict Ebay rules on shipping, I must now send ALL my packets Signed-For with NO exceptions.
Both buyers and sellers want their packets to have a safer journey and this is not a bad thing.
I now offer the fastest possible posting, often the very next day after payment is received or within two to three days maximum unless on holiday .
I only use FIRST-CLASS Mail.
The record s cover will be placed within a BRAND NEW soft protective sleeve and the actual record will be professionally cleaned on my new VPI-17 Pro vacuum system to give ultimate clean grooves and playing surfaces and the best possible looks and ultimate sound quality.
You will NOT get tired, dull looking, dust infested records inside worn and foggy covers with tatty inners from this seller and that s a promise and guarantee.
All records are posted in professional boxes NOT Mailers, these do not offer any real protection .
The record s are REMOVED from their main cover to avoid edge splits and placed within a brand new polylined inner.
The record s original inner will be included if available.
The boxes are then reinforced with at least TWO, ULTRA THICK stiffeners for maximum extra protection these are FOUR TIMES thicker than commercial stiffeners and are custom-made for oneadayrecords.
Really rare and expensive albums will even be Double Boxed if deemed necessary and possible.
When larger boxes are used, the thick record and stiffener sandwich is then thickly embedded into bubble-wrap to bulk out the record inside the box to centre the item inside to reduce the risk of damage still further.
Printed address labels are used for clarity as well as a sender label.
Customers requests or special needs for P P will be respected if at all possible but Signed-For posting is NOT an option anymore.
I do not profit on posting, better quality packaging costs, I offer probably the best-value and safest shipping possible for ultimate confidence.
The boxes and ultra thick double-wall stiffeners make a near impregnable fortress for safe shipping and this is used inland and overseas for ALL my records, not just the rare and expensive.
I will invoice any winning bidder as soon as possible after the auction ends.
My loss or damage rate is minuscule in over 14 years of Ebay trading and I consider that pretty exceptional.
The only damage rate acceptable for this seller is ZERO and I think my packets will offer just that.
It would take a vicious postman or postal service to damage these for sure.
Oneadayrecords is a MAILER-FREE ZONE they offer next-to-no-protection, and should be banned, no professional should consider using them in my opinion.
I discount of course for multiple purchases with a maximum of FIVE records per box one double can sometimes be included subject to total weight .
All postage costs are below and at the top of the listing.
NOTE: First Time Bidders: Please ask me first.
PLEASE NOTE: I now exercise my right to open a dispute after the Ebay rule of TWO days if no payment is received.
I will then cancel the dispute to end the bid, again after the mandatory FOUR days and then offer the item to the runner-up or relist.
The non-payer will also be blocked from my Ebay site as will any suspicious bids or bid withdrawals.
Small businesses need prompt payment to trade and these strict rules WILL be applied.

SOME GENERAL GUIDES TO WEAR AND CONDITIONS TO HELP YOU DECIDE My Use of Terminology: Surface Marks Superficial, usually light marks, hairlines or light scuffs that rarely sound.
Scratch a needle mark that goes below the record s surface, some will sound, some will not, my play-grade will inform.
Original a record that has been pressed with the first label design which does NOT necessarily mean a very first pressed record.
First Pressing A record that I believe or know to be a genuine very first pressed record.
I do not claim to always know for sure, and that s why I state the stamper and matrix numbers if at all possible, for those who claim to know what they all mean, the information is there for the collector to decide.
I prefer to use terms like Early Copy rather than First Pressing if I am not totally sure.
Surface Sound Mild, light sound, usually light crackle or similar.
Distortion Break up of the actual sound caused by groove wear or damage from a chipped stylus the most undesirable form of unwanted sound, vintage mono records were the most prone to this happening but not exclusively so.
The symptoms of distortion are high frequency clipping, moderate constant crackle or an echo type sound quality.
Violin, piano and vocals are most prone to groove-wear distortion.
Feathering Fraying or softening of the entry edge of a cover.
Covers with feathered entrance edges are more likely to have had the actual record inserted and removed more than a non-feathered, sharp-edged cover which are always far more attractive.
Set Off, actually a printer s term for dark ink leaving mild residue on pale or white ink when rested upon.
e.g.
when a gatefold cover has black ink closed against white, this can leave some black residue on the pale area this is mostly unavoidable or course.
The Argument for Vinyl Original sound and mix mono mixes are rarely available on CD , high quality sound on clean copies played on a hi-end dedicated analogue system breathtaking sound , beautiful, large format covers, artwork, inserts and even full size posters etc huge investment potential, and the pleasure of owning the real thing .
