Revenge We re Not Gonna Take It c/w Pornography Loony Records : SRTS/78/CUS 231 LOO 2 UK - 1978 Sleeve condition: VG / Media Condition: EX- This is a mega rare single from 1978 which has sold previously for quite large amounts.
While there is a bootleg version of this single available, this is believed to be the original article.
According to the discogs website The original and bootleg copies are very similar, but the vinyl is a lot heavier on the original pressing.
The easiest and quickest way to tell the difference is that the original picture sleeve is shiny while the bootleg picture sleeve has a matte finish, plus the band photo is much sharper on the original sleeve.
- This copy HAS the glossy finish to the sleeve indicating the genuine article.
The vinyl also has the raised centre section that one expects to find on the original item.
The sleeve is graded as being only VG condition due to some creases, corner knocks and light marks, but it is structurally intact and has no serious tears or splits and is free from any writing.
The vinyl has been graded conservatively as EX- due to some light marks that can be seen under strong light, but there appear to be no serious flaws with the record.
Matrix numbers are etched into the run off area and read SRT 78 CUS 231 A and SRTS 78 CUS 231 B Due to the rarity of the item we are starting the auction with a fairly high starting price but there is no reserve and the item will be won by the highest bidder - we will not consider offers made outside the auction so please do not ask.

GRADING: All of our records are graded using the standard UK Record Collector Grading system as follows: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.
The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.
The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches.
The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc.
The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
POSTAGE AND PACKING: Items will be sent in strong protective packing, using purpose designed mailers where possible.
We take care to make sure that the vinyl and inner bag are always removed from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits, and the vinyl itself will be placed in a soft plastic cover to protect it during transit.
