text but OMIT An EMI Recording Side 3 has a MONO PMC label but side 4 has a STEREO PCS one Furthermore, the side 4 label contains the rarely seen typesetting error with a lower-case e in ReVOLUTION 9 Both sides of this disc play in STEREO with earliest possible stereo matrices: YEX 711-1 YEX 712-1 Stamper codes: 1/GH 1/RR Vinyl weight: 150g Housed within a fully laminated, inner-flipback Garrod Lofthouse printed gatefold stereo cover numbered: No.012193 8 100 complete with 4 colour portrait photos white protector sheet , UK printed poster original black inner-sleeves CONDITION Discs Labels: Disc 1: EXCELLENT Disc 2: NEAR MINT All are perfectly clean undamaged.
Disc 1 bears a small number of light spindle trails around the side 2 centre hole mainly.
Both labels of disc 2 have just a two or three light spindle marks on each.
Visual: EXCELLENT All playing surfaces are extremely clean unworn clean and retain all of their deep-gloss factory shine.
The only noticeable visual blemish on disc 1 is a very light 3 cm hairline.
Disc 2 is just as clean, with its only noticeable blemish being a light turntable scuff on side 2.
Close examination of both discs directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp reveal nothing more than some faint/harmless inner-sleeve storage/removal marks and a sparkling rainbow shine.
Sound Quality Of Both Discs: NEAR MINT It is hard enough to find a decent sounding regular copy of this album, but impossible to better this mispressed gem.
Disc 1 appears to have been played a small number of times and sounds clean, clear totally unworn throughout, with none of the usual crackle or groovewear which blight so many copies of this delicate pressing.
The only distraction to catch my ear on either disc during my playcheck was a single light click on Yer Blues .
Apart from that and a touch of low-level vinyl background between tracks, it plays flawlessly and will not disappoint.
Cover: EXCELLENT - A clean, glossy fully intact example with mild age-toning 3/4 thumbnail wrinkles on the front panel only.
The laminate is intact around the raised wording but the last digit of the unique number has worn away and is only just readable.
There is mild corner wear and 5mm tear the inside of the upper opening edge of the front pocket .
Both panels on the inside of the gatefold are otherwise pristine the rear panel is free from any significant signs of wear The spine is slightly squashed with the only major fault being a 5mm spit in the laminate over the lower text group.
All seams of both pockets are smooth unstressed.
