THE BEATLES YELLOW SUBMARINE 1ST PRESS PPCS 7070ODEON EXPORT LABEL YEX 715-1, YEX 716 - 1 STAMPERS, 24 GO , 2 RR EX VISUAL/Nr MINT AUDIOThis IS the HOLY GRAIL Often this term is used with the 1st press Please Please Me stereo but the Yellow Submarine ODEON export is so rare it very very rarely shows up for sale anywhere, you will be lucky if you see more than one a year for sale on EBay Worldwide which is a good indicator into just how much of a monster rarity this is.Pressed in extremely small amounts, reportedly only 300 it was made for Portugal and Malta in fact after doing some research I believe that this particular record was probably from Portugal as it matches the stampers on other examples sold there, in particular from one shop SINFONIA in the Av.
de Roma Portugal.Condition Side 1 The Vinyl surface is Excellent with only one or two extremely faint wispy sleeve marks, the famous ODEON label is Excellent with no unwanted marks of any kind, there is just some light spindle wear.
Play grade is Excellent .Side 2 Again the vinyl surface is stunning and has to be graded as Excellent with maybe just a couple more wispy marks than side 1, the label is almost identical to side 1 with no unwanted marks apart from the minor spindle wear.The sleeve This is in nice condition with some slight storage wear to the front apart from this the colours are fantastic and the spine is mint.
The rear is in excellent condition with some slight age browning but overall it is very solid.
The export gold sticker is there but someone has tried to rip it off in the past so some of it is missing.
Over all this is graded as Very Good .Inner Sleeve This is the original white U.K.
patent sleeve with the Foreign Patent Pending text.
Excellent condition.
