Some people claim that this album originally came out on GOLD tan Elektra label with the large E logo . This is not the case. Therewas never a U.S. GOLD LABEL pressing of The Stooges first album. IT DOES NOT EXIST, IT NEVER EXISTED AT ALL. GOLD LABEL PRESSINGS OF THIS TITLE ARE CANADIAN PRESSINGS.
VINYL CONDITION: MINT...Looks unplayed Ultra glossy. Shines and sparkles like new. Thick inflexible original vinyl. Never seen the vinyl this nice for this album...the owner was a caring meticulous audiophile.
COVER CONDITION: VERY STRONG VG to NM- No seam splits, barely any edge wear, hint of ringwear top to left side front cover, bottom back cover shows rub mark, small corner creases upper left, bottom rt...nothing serious . No writing, no owner labels, no mildew, smoke-free, no saw cuts or notches, no tears.
LABEL CONDITION: NEAR MINT....Gorgeous...clean Great colors.
PLAY TESTED: GREAT Audiophile-like sound fidelity. AWESOME. Big strong sound, superb stereo sound separation, plays clean with no surface noise. Nicest Original 1st Press we have heard.
