ETTORE LO FUSTO OST LP - music by FRANCESCO DE MASI played by complesso IL PUNTO / IN NOME DEL POPOLO ITALIANO OST music by CARLO RUSTICHELLI with orchestra led by GIANFRANCO PLENIZIO. Original Italian pressing on MUSIC PARADE CETRA label LEL 199 , from 1972. Superb mood music on a double Italian soundtrack release : The In Nome Del Popolo Italiano side features the stylish bossa of FLY 747 also used in the poliziottesco thriller, Milano Rovente, by Umberto Lenzi and the Piccioni-esque hammond samba of EMOZIONI with funky bassline. This theme comes in 3 alternative versions, including a cinematic jazz take and another with Umiliani style saloon piano. NON DOVREI is a downtempo, vocal shake played in a rhythm and blues key with cool beats on the intro and lots of slick drum skills throughout. The male singer was Beat label recording artist, Franco Morselli. The Ettore Lo Fusto side is much more psychedelic and groovy, totally in sync with the fabulous pop art biker / nude artwork sleeve. Obscure prog group, IL Punto are the musicians heard on IL TALLONE DI ACHILLE and its funkier dub version MENELAO SHAKE. Both are chase sequence themes with flute solos and garage rock instrumentation / fuzz distortions / mod organ and thunderous kick drum breaks. Francesco De Masi s orchestra provides the beautiful ELENA theme with gorgeous strings / mellow flute and jazzy trumpet motif. The hippie glam rock cum gothic discotheque sound of DOPPIO PUNTO should also appeal to DJs. Loud production sound. Some truely lurid Italian fashions and hairstyles in this delirious comedy film directed by Enzo G. Castellari co-written by Lucio Fulci starring Giancarlo Giannini / Phillipe Leroy / Rosanna Schiaffino and Vittorio De Sica. Plenty of eclectic drum patterns / progressive pop movements and sophisticated lounge Rare OST Lp Please see label photos for full tracklisting.

Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG / VG / VG

Vinyl is in shiny, strong VG condition overall regardless of the old, faded, cloudy streak marks from compressed contact with the original plastic inner. A few hairlines / faint scuffs. Loud production sound. Some light surface noises mostly to the gentle version of the Emozioni theme . A few soft pops / soft ticks in places as you can hear on our soundclip . The flipback, soft card matte finish sleeve is in strong VG condition closer to VG regardless of any ring creasing or general wear from storage. Some corner wear / light edge wear in places. Some bending / creasing below the front, top left corner area. A few faint dirt spots to front sleeve too. Some mottled storage marks / faint stains / rub marks / natural age discoloration and old yellow price sticker to back sleeve. Still a sharp looking item overall. Camera flash glare to sleeve and label photo. The labels are actually bright yellow. Rare OST Lp
