Item Description

Bid now for this, what must be the most sought-after vinyl albums ever released by the Fab Four With the withdrawn BUTCHER cover THE BEATLES Yesterday And Today Capitol Records ST-2553 circa 1966 Stereo USA Pressing Tracks Include: Drive My Car, Nowhere Man, Yesterday, We Can Work It Out, What Goes On?, Day Tripper ....
This great album has the legendary Butcher Cover where the Beatles were depicted holding decapitated dolls and raw meat, supposedly a reference to the Vietnam war, or maybe just a bad-taste joke? Either way the album was recalled and thousands of copies had this offensive photo covered-up.
A few copies escaped the cull including this one having been sold before the decision was taken to drop the original cover Vinyl - Strong VGC just a few minor surface marks, that s all Cover - The bottom edge has split see photo I haven t sellotaped this one as one normally would, given the rarity of the cover itself.
The record will be housed in a plastic sleeve to protect it from any further deterioration This is a real one-off.
An original Stereo pressing of the rarest official release by the Fab Four.
Bid NOW or miss out Checkout my other Progressive Rock, Folk, Folk-Rock, Blues, Punk, Reggae, Jazz etc in my other eBay listings.
