Item Description

Vee-Jay Records Introducing...
The Beatles THE BEATLESThe Holy Grail of every Beatles collection, considered one of the rarest of all American Beatles LP records, the 1st version of the 1st Beatles album in America, Introducing the Beatles Version 1 Stereo with a withdrawn 1st track lineup, including Love Me Do and P.S I Love You .
The very early 1st run Ad Back version thick cardboard cover with twenty five Other Fine Album Of Significant Interest Vee Jay releases by other Vee Jay artists such as Jimmy Reed on the back.
It has been estimated that less than 1000 Stereophonic Ad Back copies were manufactured and it isn t known for sure how many copies have survived to this day.
Incredibly rare front cover with the Printed In U.S.A.
banner running vertically along the bottom left side, half an inch from the bottom left corner.
The rarest of the three versions original 1st print colorband Vee Jay VJLP 1062 / 63-3402 catalog numbers 2.75 diameter deep groove pressing ring black print oval VJ logo label with the Stereo banner at 12 o clock above the Vee Jay logo, Long Playing and Microgroove text.
Original thick, heavy plate, glossy vinyl pressing with the 1st matrix numbers and original AudioMatrix machine stamp in the trail-off vinyl, which is considered to be the proof of authenticity of the 1st pressing.
The vinyl has a unique 1st release date 6-28-63 stamp handwritten in the trail-off vinyl.
The full matrix numbers are as follows Side 1: 63-3402S A ARP AudioMatrix Side 2: 63-3403S A 6-28-63 ARP AudioMatrix.
The cover is in Excellent condition, very clean, without any hints of ring wear, writing or splits.
The front cover has a very early 1st press high-quality print.
The very clean cover doesn t have any ring wear, containing some occasional corner and edge wear.
The Ad Back slick contains rich and vivid color and is in truly pristine condition, especially considering the fact that the majority of these copies are found with a heavy ring wear.
The top right corner contains a Two Guys store tag.
The rigid spine contains a fully readable text, only containing some light wear on the corners.
I grade the vinyl as Very Good Minus as it contains surface hairlines, marks, scuffs from the inner sleeve along with some light fogging.
The labels are very clean, containing some spindle wear and scuffing.
However, the record plays well, considering what it looks like, with some occasional background noise without having any skips or pops.
The vinyl has been cleaned using an ultrasonic machine.
The album comes with the original red background Vee Jay Records The Greatest Gospel Sound on Record Is On Vee Jay Records inner sleeve with 60 adverts for other Vee Jay releases in Excellent condition.CONDITION: VINYL - GOOD-VERY GOOD G-VG COVER - EXCELLENT EX ATTENTION INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS USPS can no longer accept or deliver international mail temporary to several countries due to the service impacts.
