Item Description

THE BEATLES - REVOLVER This early UK 1st STEREO pressing dates from initial August 1966 release on the yellow black Parlophone labels: PCS 7009 Both labels bear the Sold in UK....
text with The Gramophone Co..
rims The side 2 label has the earliest Dr Robert spelling for track 4 along with the KT purchase tax code.
A genuine Factory Sample - Not For Sale sticker is adhered to the side 1 label Matrix numbers: YEX 605-1 YEX 606-1 Stamper codes: 1/G 2/G Vinyl weight: 158g Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback Garrod Lofthouse printed cover original Patents Applied For inner-sleeve CONDITION Disc Labels: NEAR MINT A bright unworn set bearing nothing more than a small handful of light spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.
Visual: NEAR MINT Pristine, deep-gloss playing surfaces which retain all of their factory shine and are totally unmarked in strong daylight.
Closer inspection directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp reveals just a few barely visible wispy paper hairlines consistent with inner-sleeve removal but no other trace of wear whatsoever.
Both sides of this cherished copy lie 100 flat on the turntable when playing.
Sound Quality: NEAR MINT This flawless sounding copy has received just a few careful plays on quality equipment and as a result, all tracks play cleanly clearly without any trace of groove/playwear.
My single careful play-check revealed just a touch of low-level vinyl background between tracks and on Here, there Everywhere , but no clicks, pops or any other significant or major audible distractions.
Cover: EXCELLENT A firm unworn example which bears minor storagewear without any major faults.
The front panel is clean with a hint of toning along the spine area but no thumbnail or even any spine wrinkles.
There is slight bruising to the corners but no significant wear to either opening edge.
The exposed rear panel is clean black where it should be with just a trace of storage rubbing but no writing or missing paper anywhere.
All flipbacks are fully intact and undamaged and both seams are smooth unstressed.
The spine is slightly discoloured but unbent and all of the text is covered and unworn.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT - Slight age-toning and a few soft storage bends with a small ink spot on one side but no tears or seam splits.
