Whether this is the actual number or not is unknown, but there is no doubt that this is an incredibly rare item that was never sold to the public.
Dating from March of 1971, Open Your Box is a different, rough mix of the song later released as Hirake on the Fly album.
Sonically, this is a very crisp and powerful mix that features the incredible drumming of Jim Gordon as well as John Lennon s guitar part, which was allegedly played with a mic stand This 45 has Bell Sound stamped in the trail off and the distinctive ridged pattern around the label typical of Apple releases from this time.
