text A rarely seen KJT purchase tax code is present in the centre of the side 1 label.
Disc 1 matrices: YEX 709-1 YEX 710-1 Stamper codes: 3/GDO 4/GAG Vinyl weight: 162g The An EMI Recording wording is omitted from labels 3 4 Matrices: YEX 711-2 YEX 712-1 Stamper codes: 1/GGL 2/OD Vinyl weight: 151g Housed within an immaculate fully laminated, top-opening Garrod Lofthouse stereo gatefold cover individually numbered No.0344530 with small stereo indicator on the rear panel This copy is 100 complete example comes with original UK inserts: 4 colour portrait photos, protector sheet, poster black inners CONDITION Labels: EXCELLENT All labels are in fine condition with just a handful of tiny light spindle trails around each centre hole.
Disc 1: NEAR MINT Disc 2:EXCELLENT All playing surfaces are pristine and retain all of their deep-gloss factory shine.
Disc 1 is in exceptional condition and is unmarked and as new in strong daylight with just a few barely visible wispy paper hairlines, which I struggled to find beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp.
Disc 2 is equally as clean but down graded slight due only to a few paper scuffs on side 3 which are consistent with removal from the unforgiving black inners.
All sides of this exceptional set lie 100 flat on the turntable when playing and would be difficult to upgrade.
Sound Quality Of Both Discs: NEAR MINT Both discs has received just a few careful plays on top-quality equipment and no groove/playwear distortion is present on any track or in either channel.
In fact, apart from a touch of normal low-level vinyl background in some of the quieter passages, there is little to fault on this impressive sounding set.
My single careful play-check at volume detected no clicks, pops ticks or any other audible distractions or faults.
Cover: NEAR MINT An exceptionally clean, firm and totally unworn example with an immaculate, unscratched high-gloss laminate all-round.
The front panel retains an excellent whiteness with no thumbnail wrinkles or creasing to any part.
The laminate over the raised wording is fully intact and the unique number is clearly visible.
All corners are immaculate, as is the inside of the gatefold.
The tiny black spot to the right of the track-listing is a small speck of material beneath the laminate The rear panel is as clean, glossy unworn as the front with a clear and unworn small stereo indicator in the upper right corner.
The spine is clean unbent with a full laminate which has a few tiny splits but both sets of text are covered readable.
Finally, both upper lower seams of both pockets are perfectly smooth unstressed and unworn.
Tough to upgrade this superb cover.
Photos: MINT Photo protector sheet: EXCELLENT Poster: EXCELLENT Clean unhung with a few faint handling wrinkles, but no wear or tears to any fold or edge.
Inner-sleeves: VERY GOOD /EXCELLENT Both are clean flat with some storage wrinkling to one but no seams splits to either.
