PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING:
Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question.
OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION.
In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on
any concerns that may arise. In the unlikely instance that you feel the
need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week.
Payment
is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after
auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in
detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times
delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.
Overseas mail to some countries Italy, Russia, France, in particular
has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable
and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide
excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback.
We use a VPI machine and
thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by
removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml
plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts,
and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.
We
take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please
give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we
will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare
and collectible music We have served thousands of satisfied customers - far more than our feedback records indicate - and our aim is to continue to do so.
Thank you for your interest and support.

USA - PRIVATE PRESS RITE RECORDS DB 8970
...MEGA RARE ... Holy Grail GARAGE
DB RECORDS local Pennsylvania micro-press
One of the most obscure greats from the 60s teen set which many collectors don t know of nor have ever seen, and probably won t
Destined for higher mega bucks value, it s a sure-fire investment item as far as value goes once word sets in collector circles, but better yet the crude primitive performance makes for an essential garage collectible. We hold our personal copy in high regard. Rarer than you may expect, one of those think twice rarities from the lost highway nearly vanished without a trace...
The low-fi, blaring-in-the-red sound primitive 60s quality is what aside from the performers energy makes this sound so great
Imagine if raw raw Smokin Willie had a backing spice section. The sound is really loud and Low-Fi and primitive to the max, but that only enhances the album with a special charm. The lead guitar breaks are friggin wild almost as wild as Smokin Willy, maybe not as fuzzed out, but the energy certainly kicks ass. You get 3 originals and a raw Chicago Transit Authority 1969 1st Lp cover which is Blue Cheer like compared to the original.
We get the idea this super rare album wants to blow the listener away.
Among
local late 60s US rock albums, this is one of the most buried titles.
It s not in Collector Dreams, and only listed briefly elsewhere.
Musically it s a pretty insane-sounding mix of Smokin Willie basement
hardrock and early big band rock a la CTA. There are cool teen-appeal horns which are used for riffs
only, not solo, much like a Hammond B-3. Everything about this album is
crude, with long frantic Hendrix feedback guitar leads on top. Only the 1 cool
cover version, the rest is band originals. One of our fave Pennsylvania discoveries in
the past, but be prepared it ain t the Fredric. The teenage band
photos adorned on the front and back cover are outstanding.
By the way, remaining rare as hell, the band leader has passed away awhile back and left no
copies behind it s a Rite pressing that was probably made in very very small
numbers.

CONDITION: The cover: rated: near M- thick white cover has very little past handling visuals and by far CONSIDERED A top copy. The white cover is still very white and not browned as could be expected 48 years down the road. Overall a REALLY strong keeper copy with NO upgrade necessary good luck to that anyway There are no delete marks, no split seams, and no writing ... VERY collection worthy with pretty fresh appearance ...
The vinyl:
Rated: M- thick old-tyme 60s platter is VERY clean, plays clean ...no audio surface, no groove wear BUT does contain charming, primitive crude nature leaping from the grooves
Far out sounds from the 60s underground ...Hopelessly rare original micro-pressing ...final collection copy ... Custom DB labels are clean
A cool addition to anyone s music library
SEE: SELLERS OTher items for similar cool sounds for head people...
