PEPPER S LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND This NEAR MINT UK 1st STEREO pressing dates from initial June 1967 release on the black yellow Parlophone label: PCS 7027 Both labels include the Sold in U.K...
text with a KT purchase tax code in the cente of the side 1 label.
Matrix numbers: YEX 637-1 YEX 638-1 Stamper codes: 2/R 2/M Vinyl weight: 144g Housed within an earliest-type, fully laminated Garrod Lofthouse printed gatefold stereo cover with a 9mm wide-spine.
This example is 100 complete with original red white designer inner-sleeve unused cut-out sheet.
CONDITION Disc Labels: NEAR MINT A superb pair with the only trace of wear being two faint single spindle trails around the side 1 centre hole.
Visual: NEAR MINT Immaculate factory-fresh playing surfaces which retain all of their deep-gloss shine and are unmarked in strong daylight.
Closer examination beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals just a few barely visible wispy paper hairlines from the inner-sleeve and a sparkling rainbow shine.
This is your final upgrade of this masterpiece.
Sound Quality: NEAR MINT This wonderful sounding copy plays cleanly and clearly and has certainly been barely played.
All tracks play clean clearly with all of the warmth and clarity you would expect of such an early copy.
Our careful play-check detected only two soft pops during She s Leaving Home but no groove/playwear distortion or crackle here or elsewhere on this exquisite example.
Cover: NEAR MINT Much harder to find than their mono counterparts, this earliest wide-spine example is in truly exceptional condition.
The iconic front panel is clean unworn and retains a totally unscratched high-gloss laminate, free from any thumbnail wrinkles.
There is a small bump to the lower left corner but all others are in fine shape.
All opening edges are sharp and clean with just a couple of tiny pushes to the edges of the rear pocket.
Both panels inside the gatefold are flawless with no damage or wear to the upper flip-over edges.
The rear panel is just as glossy with again, no thumbnails or even ringwear and all corners from this angle are 100 in-shape and unworn.
All seams are smooth, unstressed and unsplit with no flaking or worn laminate.
The spine is clean, square uncrushed along its entire length and retains its full lamination.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT Clean and white where is should be with some soft storage wrinkles to the corners.
It is downgraded due to a number written in one of the upper corners and a 3cm lower seam split.
Cut-out sheet: MINT For more quality vintage vinyl, please visit our Ebay Store This LP will be shipped inside our new exclusive custom-made LP mailer above , which guarantees it reaches you in the same condition it leaves us.
