We use a variety of different cartridges for various genres including Decca Blue Golds for Classical, Ortofon MC2000 s Van Den Hul Colibris for Jazz and Denon 103 s for Rock.
Cleaning / Postage Packaging / Shipping Every record we send out is fully cleaned, first using a carbon brush to remove any dust, then with the flagship VPI Typhoon record cleaner using a four-step process consisting of an active enzyme cleaner, premixed vinyl cleaner, ultra-pure water rinse solution and finishing with a high resolution rinse.
This process gets down deeper into the grooves and removes contaminants unlike anything else.
The improvement in the sound is startling.
It is then placed in a brand new liner the original liner is always included if present and packaged in a record mailer including stiffeners with the vinyl placed in a separate sleeve, it is then encased in the highest quality plastic outer sleeve to keep it as clean as possible.
