Probably released in 1970 this is due to SIAE logo on labels , this is Bruno Nicolai at the top of his game with this dope original 1969 Soundtrack for the Rai TV series GEMINUS , starring Walter Chiari, Alida Chelli, Ira Furstemberg.
Surely tough to find and barely seen, the music on here sums up all the best Nicolai modes of the time: some of those Morricone-like moments of mellow groove, mixed with starker striking sounds, balanced by some especially catchy Jazz elements that really make the whole thing sparkle.
Vibes, organ, and guitar all figure in nicely at certain points, and the soundtrack s awash in very cool tunes, including a few lyrical numbers near the end.
Very deep Italian OST, with Fuzzy/Free Jazz/Avant-garde jams and mysterious oriental-styled sounds interrupted by some infectious Scat themes.
Very Rare and not be missed Listen: Side A first track is a killing Fuzz gem, GIANO is tribal Psych Out jam with Psychedelic Acid guitar broken by tensed Harpsichord notes, very nice TEOREMA also one of the main Theme of the Soundtrack is cinematic Jazzy theme with central Harpsichord motif.
LARVE , IL SOGNATORE and ECLISSE DI LUNA are all nice Experimental/Avant-garde sounds, all deeply instrumental and providing mysterious atmospheres.
Then the pure masterpiece and my favorite track from this album IL CIELO CADE is some of the best cinematic themes ever, Soul-Jazz base with bewitching chorus and superb orchestra, absolutely great.
NOTTI ROMANE another great Dark Avant-garde jam with frightful atmospheres and chorus.
TEOREMA con voce is the same theme with Scat vocals added.
LE VOCI provides an unexpected sweet Bossa groove with da-ba-da vocals.
FUOCHI FATUI is another Psych Out Dark and Esoteric jam.
