Description:

As you see from the photos, this is an original 1978 An Ideal For Living 7in EP, one of only one thousand ever made, and this one is signed by Peter Hook.

All the known original EP markings are clear, such as the circular dips on the disc label area, the serrated side, ENIGMA label, heavy-stock card/paper cover, and finally the dot-matrix monochrome printing of it.

Peter Hook signed this EP in 2012 in Liverpool when he was being interviewed by John Robb for his second book launch Unknown Pleasures, Inside Joy Division .

Peter Hook s autograph is very special, because it shows that light-hearted side of Hooky, with him Plonking a funny arrow pointing to his picture, telling the entire world that he was ere. For which many of the audience are grateful.

The disc and cover are in very good/Excellent condition. The spots that you see on the back are not mould marks, and are somewhat amplified by the camera flash.

These spots of what looks to be tea droplets are very interesting, as they may well have been made before the cover was even first folded.

This is because they are very old tea drops that have become a little darker over time, distributed evenly on the back of the cover, and not to just on one side of it, meaning the cover was completely unfolded and flat when this happened.

And most importantly, they have not been wiped or cleaned at all, meaning that they had not been noticed. This is evident, as on examination, when the larger spots are looked at with a magnifying-glass, the very small splash-droplets can be perfectly seen around them, as they dried naturally, and completely undisturbed.

This item is kept in an easy to remove acid-free holder.

You are bidding on the above pictured Joy Division Album

All discs have been inspected and found to be in fine condition, and each individual reading this grades their records differently, so I would say that all these vinyl records range in quality from Good, Very Good, Excellent, New to unopened.

Unused by seller, each kept in an acid free cellophane sealed protector, and come from a smoke free, pet free home.
