A rare record in great condition. SAX 2391 Albeniz / Granados - Spanish Piano Music - played by Jose Iturbi - First Edition with the Turquoise and Silver labels. Lovely condition overall inside and out as seen in the photos and as described below. YLX 1013-1 and YLX 1012-1.
The sleeve is very pleasing indeed. Front side is clean and bright, with minimal, almost none in the way of creasing or delamination. The spine is straight and true. Just one slight ring mark to the top left rear as seen, otherwise lovely, no fading or damage to the flip back.
Visually the playing surfaces are very clean and bright, barely any of even the lightest scuffs from movement inside the sleeve. There s the slightest hint of rippling from contact with the plastic lined inner sleeve. Barely detracts.
I ve play tested the record in full. The audio is bright, crisp and punchy. There are no skips or jumps, no clicks or anything severe, just the usual light background static heard in the quieter passages. The occasional usual slight tick or static pop, again heard in the quieter sections. Being critical I d say there s a little more occasional background crackle on side two, but nothing that particularly detracts.
