David Bowie - David Bowie
I am pleased to present for sale the second of my Bowie holy grail rarities - a gold vinyl version of the 2019 reissue of Bowie s eponymously titled second studio album - though commonly referred to as Space Oddity.
Background:
In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the original release, a brand new anniversary mix of the record by the original producer, Tony Visconti. Within this release, 2019 hand-numbered coloured vinyl were randomly distributed throughout the - the remainder were black and not numbered. The first 1969 numbered copies were issued on silver vinyl and numbers 1970-2019 were issued in gold. This record is 1 of those 50 extremely rare vinyl with serial number 1990.
I purchased the vinyl in 2019 from a friend of mine that runs a record shop. I have never played it - nor had they. The cellophane has been opened along the bottom edge to allow the record to be inspected. Other than this, the album looks brand new.

No spindle wear is present. There are two short to the label around the spindle hole on side 1. It cam like this new.
Visual: Mint
No marks can be seen on either side.
Audio: Ungraded
I have never listened to the record. I assume it is mint but one never knows
Sleeve: Mint
As new. No corner bumps. No edge wear. Well looked after.
Inner Sleeve: Mint
As new. I have kept the vinyl in a mobile fidelity inner sleeve so the original inner has not been used.
Additional Details:
The vinyl will be packaged outside of the sleeve, both of which are stored inside an archival quality polypropylene outer sleeve.
The record will be sent via an insured courier in a padded vinyl mailer.
