Raymond Bowman s Mother was Vesta Bowman a founding member President of the Long Beach Women s Committee for the Philharmonic Orchestra of Southern California.
Not to be overshadowed, Lita Bowman made her mark with a remarkable military career, serving in the Women s Army Corps in 1945.
Her experiences in coding and decoding messages, managing war channels, and contributing to the signal center are reflected in the unique war memorabilia she and Raymond both collected over the years.
