Beatles Yesterday And Today 3rd State Butcher Cover 1966 Capitol Mono W/vg Lp

Up for auction - a very nice original third state peel job of the Beatles Yesterday and Today LP on Capitol Records. Many attempts at peeling these covers ends in disaster and this one appears to have been expertly done. There are just two areas of paper loss on the cover. One on John s chest and a very small 1/8 loss to the left of Ringo s head.

The spine is about half split as seen in the photographs.Top and bottom seams show shelf wear and minor paper flaking. The back of the cover has a name crossed out with a sharpie.

The vinyl included with the cover is VG in beautiful MONO - really an enjoyable listen There are several marks on the vinyl that do not affect play. Also included is the original inner sleeve in G- condition with center splits on all three sides.

Overall, this is an excellent chance to own a complete copy of this LP and the notorious Butcher cover. I m including a Xerox copy of the original Capitol Records recall letter.

This is a standard auction with a very reasonable starting bid. Please review all of the photographs as they do provide a good visual condition of the cover.
