Auction is for an ULTRA RARE 100 ORIGINAL CANADIAN-ONLY PRESSING of BLIND OWL S SELF TITLED LP from 197? on Private Label Self-Released .
WOW Here s an absolute monster rarity that I m fairly certain has never been offered on eBay until now Absolute top-shelf sounds to boot so no wonder this has been so sweated by those in the know.
Only 100 copies were ever pressed confirmed w/ band never any copies at the source and as most were used as demos there s a pretty good chance a good chunk of the run ended up getting tossed.
Suffice to say it may be some time before another copy, especially in this kind of condition, surfaces for sale on here.
Reissued last year by Strawberry Rain thru Light In The Attic, you can actually hear short clips of the album here .
Truly top of the heap for self released folk/ssw sounds of that era and the best to come out of Canada, imho.
Will not disappoint fans of this style.
Moderate reserve given I d heard of a copy that traded hands a few years back at Utrecht for upwards of 2,000 Euros .
I know the term gets bandied about a lot but this is truly a holy grail.
