They ve been in storage for a decade, and they WILL play with surface noise that can be addressed with D4 or a VPI cleaning. I can t test-play at the minute. Beatles LP White Album 1968 Apple Pressing, Supernice Cover, Photos and Poster
This copy has one of the cleanest covers I ve ever seen. Not NM, but definitely a nice, sturdy, clean white copy
Vinyl--- VG /VG. VG /VG.
Plates--- J55/J50. J52/J48. Hand-etched letter O in the dead wax on both sides makes this copy pressed in Jacksonville.
Cover--- Mostly white with slight yellowing and extremely little ringwear. Bottom seam has light damage. See photo. NO DIRTWEAR. NO SPLITS.
Gatefold--- Some yellowing at the top 1/8. Small rust spot in the gatefold seam at the very bottom. NO SPLITS.
Photos--- NM/NM/NM/NM. All photos are gorgeous, thick card stock, full gloss and smooth as silk. George has one light finger divot. All of them look brand newly-printed Slight sepia-tone, as well as the Printed in U.S.A. circle in the bottom left corner make these photos 1968/1969. Color was improved in 1970, and Apple Records, Inc. was included on the photos.
Poster--- VG . Moderate amount of finger divots, and that s it. Full gloss. NO SPLITS. Slight sepia-tone, as well as the Printed in U.S.A. circle in the bottom left corner makes this poster 1968/1969. Color was improved in 1970, and Apple Records, Inc. was included on the poster.
Labels--- NM/NM/NM/NM. NO SPINDLE MARKS.
Capitol Inner Sleeve--- Generic white inner sleeve with no die-cut hole for the labels to show is present and in EX condition. NO SEAM SPLITS.

This is a great set
As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up. Thanks
