Item Description

Let me make it clear, I am not a professional record dealer.
This record was part of my Dad s collection - which he gave to me when Cd s came on the scene and he decided his records were no longer relevant Some I kept and some I brought to a record shop in central London who as I found out later, really didn t do me any favors, lets put it that way.
Luckily I kept a few, this one mainly because I liked the artwork along with a few others such as Ptooff by the Deviants, again because of the cool artwork.
I sold that on ebay to an Italian collector recently who was happy with my description of the condition.
Which if anything, knowing how important these things are to record collectors errs on the side of caution rather than exaggeration.
Having said that I would really prefer if you are based in the London area to please come along and have a look at the record itself, given the value.
If you can t and wish to bid the best I can offer is to list this as honestly as I can to the best of my ability.
I want to get the best price, obviously, but I don t want anyone to regret or be unhappy with their purchase.
Its just a waste of everyone s time.
Returns will be accepted, if it comes to that.
I wont go into long details about the Band and the provenance, if you are here you obviously know what its all about Personally I m not a massive Prog rock fan myself to be honest but I love the artwork, its beautiful.
The condition of the vinyl itself I would describe, conservatively as Very Good.
I wouldn t say it has been played very often - unlike Yes which seemed to be a permanent aural fixture in my childhood There is some dust on the record which I m not touching, as I m paranoid about messing anything up.
Id prefer leave the cleaning to the pro s I cant see any scratches at all.
If you wish I can try to take some more pictures, but again if you can come have a look I d much prefer it.
Free tea or freshly ground coffee and biscuits provided The outer sleeves condition is fairly good but there is some wear and pinholing along the folds and I ve highlighted the worst area in the photos.
Take a good look please.
This is the original first and only 1971 pressing.
The only thing missing is the original swirl sleeve.
Its probably mixed up on a copy of Tales of Topographic oceans knocking around somewhere Genuine auction although I am open to reasonable offers.
Any questions, please just get in touch.
All the best and happy bidding....
By the way I haven t intentionally taken more pictures of the Swirl A side of the record, its just turned out that way.
The B side is in exactly the same, ie Very Good condition.
Thanks
