My vinyl record rating guide: vinyl / sleeve
NMINT- outstanding gloss, should have no surface scuffing at all / strong spine with clear, legible print, should be close to perfect
EX outstanding gloss, a few light superficial surface scuffs, should play great with crisp, clear analog sound and the possibility of a little light background noise familiar to vinyl lovers most likely during the dead wax spots between tracks / strong spine with clear, legible print, may have a little light age wear to the cover or the corners
VG superb gloss, some light superficial surface scuffing, should play great with crisp, clear analog sound and some light occasional background noise possible / strong spine but the print may be compromised somewhat, some light age wear, but no seam splits or writing on the jacket unless noted in the description
VG nice gloss, multiple light superficial surface scuffs, should still play well but with a little more background noise possible, should still be an enjoyable listening experience and I will usually play rate these and make it known on the listing / cover should be functional but may have some seam splits or writing, I will note all splits or writing in the description
GOOD good gloss, numerous scuffs, should play though but will have background noise, I will play rate these to make sure that the record plays through without skips, I will not list a record that skips, there may be a click on a few rotations, but I will note these in the description, I usually only list records that are more collectable at this rating / cover should be functional but will have some seam splits or writing, I will note all splits or writing in the description
FAIR I will only list these records if they are highly collectable and will describe each one individually
NEWS: I just bought a small batch of 70 s-80 s classics in outstanding condition that I will be listing over the next few weeks.
ARTIST s : The Who
TITLE: Who s Zoo
LABEL: 1974 TMOQ records double album release W 556 U.S. press
COVER: EX William Stout artwork
VINYL: VG superb gloss, quality of the vinyl is uneven, mostly it plays great with crisp, clean analog sound and tremendous fidelity and a minimum of extremely light BG noise. All opened LPs are cleaned on my VPI vacuum record cleaner. I listened to all four sides of this classic and it is an extremely enjoyable listening experience even with the occasional quick playback lapses due to some recording mishaps.
all records visually graded, except when noted
