RECORD: visual weak VG but has a crack see Notes below
NOTES: US 1974 original pressing. Cover has some edge/ring/shelf wear and old Dymo label sticker, but not too bad. Record looks visually nice until you notice a thin crack slightly longer than 1 inch. It goes through the first 2 tracks on each side. The weird thing is that the record plays through the crack fine as long as you make sure to push down the spot where the crack starts so it is even. I expected the crack would cause constant clicking but it actually plays through surprisingly well with very little surface noise.
GRADES: SEALED, NM, EXC, VG , VG, VG-, G, FAIR, POOR.
I grade strictly under bright light. My highest grade for an unsealed record is NM NEAR MINT - a record must look like new to be graded NM An EXC record will show only slight signs of prior play. A VG is a solid used record that should play well but has minor visual flaws. A VG has more obvious flaws BUT is not trashed. Records graded VG- or worse will often play much better than they look.
