This sleeve was signed on 5 February 1980 after the concert at Central Hall in Grimsby, UK. A handwritten letter from the original owner that got it signed will be enclosed with the item and is also pictured in this item listing. He sold it to a person named Ruben back in 2006 and now I have it offering it up for sale again. The FULL TEXT of the letter is transcribed further below when you scan past the soundclips.

I am writing this short letter in respect of a 7 vinyl record single named THE SOUNDHOUSE TAPES
Hi Ruben,
It was on February 5th 1980 that Iron Maiden played in Grimsby at the Central Hall, Duncombe street. I have since learned that they were the support band which I cannot seem to remember. I was 15 years old at the time and was really into Mot rhead, AC/DC and alot of the punk stuff at that time, a load of us from school used to go to the gigs at mostly the Winter Gardens Cleethorpes but it could be tricky because of the drinks laws no bar at Central Hall . At this time we had seen a young Def Leppard, Ian Gillan with support Samson with Bruce Dickinson and many more
On the night in question I and a few others saw for sale an Iron Maiden single, I forget how much it was but I do remember it was cheaper than a t-shirt. After the gig me and my mates met the band in the foyer of the hall and they duly signed mine and quite a few more copies Paul Di anno was very drunk I remember and didn t sign to many numbers that night, Steve Harris was great, always polite and asking if you enjoyed the gig, not just them but Praying Mantis
I seem to think that I only played the single maybe 6 or 8 times, I know I could be making as mistake selling but there are other things I would like now and it was only sat in a box of singles for over 20 years, anyway I hope you get as much enjoyment as possible out of owning it, it is part of Iron Maiden early history and who s to say they wont be still going in another 10 or 15 years.
